As we pray for all islands and continents experiencing hurricanes at this time I imagined homes and apartment buildings in hurricane allies filled with solar panels and rows and rows of sturdy little adjustable wind turbines which could harness regular and hurricane winds in an instant. Then during a hurricane people could turn off their electricity and their turbines would produce more than enough emergency energy should any of their eletrical polls go down. Strong hurricane winds last for a but a couple of hours or less. Much depends on your location in relation and the size and speed of the hurricane. A very large hurricane with a large diameter can take on upwards of 24 hours or more or less to pass to pass. Then after solar panels continue to provide free energy.
We have to perfect our regular electrical systems in each nation but this is something which the will not be a project to make anyone rich. We should think like a team and work like a team.
Generally speaking, we have still to make solar an institution. More governments have to get in on solar and turbines and combine them with current electricity generating applications. The goal is free energy to them who cannot afford it and low cost energy to them who can.
